Michael Coppel, Louise Withers, Linda Bewick in association with Adrian Barnes announced today that by arrangement with Mousetrap Productions Ltd London, Agatha Christie’s iconic play, The Mousetrap will tour Australia for the very first time in 2012 with seasons in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne confirmed and additional dates to follow.

I will be running a seven week introduction to Laban for Actors at Heffron Hall, cnr Burton St and Palmer St, Darlinghurst, every Thursday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm starting Thursday April 19th and concluding on Thursday 31st of May.
This is a hands-on set of seven three hour workshops exploring the potential of weight, space, time and flow and its effect on the emotional flow of the actor. With a thorough exploration of the working actions and inner attitudes as suggested By Rudolph Laban, and incorporated into an acting methodology by Yat Malgram.
The work explores the condition of the emotional body with text written by the actor from personal experience. The work is exposing, releasing, manipulating, and above all freeing for the actor. Through personal exploration of familiar situations we find the way to access and manipulate our emotional states, and how to manage those states in performance.
Currently Adrian is Associate Director/Co-Producer on the 60th Anniversary Australian tour of The Mousetrap.
Cost $560.00 Must be paid prior to undertaking the course. (Early bird payment $500 if paid on or before April 5th 2012).
Maximum 10 people. N.B. This is a course for experienced actors or actors with some training. It is not suitable for beginners. CV with application please.
